Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Suitcase Type Foundry grants the License Holder a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Font Software solely within the scope of the purchased License. The License is limited to the scope expressly purchased and remains valid unless terminated under this Agreement. Scope
Trial Licenses are provided solely for evaluating the Font Software before purchasing a commercial License.
Permitted Uses
The License Holder may install and use the Font Software for evaluation, technical testing, design exploration, internal presentations, client pitches, mock-ups, and non-commercial educational or student projects. Trial Fonts may also be used in publicly presented or published educational work, provided that the typeface name and Suitcase Type Foundry are clearly credited.

Scope
Desktop Licenses permit installation of the Font Software on local computers for the creation of static documents and graphics for print and screen. Desktop Licenses are licensed based on the number of computers on which the Font Software is installed.
Permitted Uses
The License Holder may install the Font Software on licensed computers and use it to create print publications, editorial publications, books, magazines, packaging, advertising, branding materials, static digital graphics, presentations, PDF documents, signage, environmental graphics, and other static visual content. Desktop Licenses also permit Trademark Use except where a Trademark License Extension is required under Section 2.2.3. A Desktop License may cover licensed computers located at multiple offices, studios, home offices, or other geographic locations, provided that all such computers are operated by the License Holder or its authorized Users and are included within the total number of licensed computers.

Permitted Uses
The License Holder may create, modify where necessary, register, maintain, and use the specific Trademark Use identified in the applicable Trademark License Extension Agreement. The extension applies only to the licensed style and the specific Trademark Use identified in that agreement.
Restrictions

Scope
This License Extension supplements the EULA by removing the standard quantitative limits applicable to Desktop, Web, App, Server, and Broadcast Licenses.

The applicable Unlimited Enterprise License Agreement defines the specific scope of rights. Unless otherwise stated in Schedule A, the License Holder may use the Font Software throughout its organization with unlimited authorized Users, devices, Websites, Applications, internal server deployments, Broadcast uses, and covered legal entities.
Restrictions
Except where expressly modified by the Unlimited Enterprise License Agreement or Schedule A, all provisions of this Agreement remain in force. Trademark Use requiring a Trademark License Extension remains separately licensed unless expressly agreed in writing.
2.3 License Purchase and Other Uses
All Licenses are granted only after full payment of the applicable License fee. The License Holder is responsible for obtaining all Licenses required for its actual use of the Font Software. If intended or actual use exceeds the purchased scope, the License Holder must obtain the appropriate additional License, License Extension, or separate written agreement before that use begins. Any use not expressly permitted may require a custom License, OEM agreement, Unlimited License, or other written agreement. Questions regarding licensing should be directed to Suitcase Type Foundry before the Font Software is used.
3. Ownership
All Font Software remains the exclusive intellectual property of Suitcase Type Foundry. This Agreement grants only a limited license to use the Font Software. No ownership rights are transferred. The Font Software is protected by copyright law, trademark law, unfair competition law, and applicable international intellectual property treaties. All rights not expressly granted under this Agreement are reserved by Suitcase Type Foundry.
4. Designer / License Holder Relationship
Suitcase Type Foundry recognizes that modern design practice frequently involves collaboration between agencies, independent designers, developers, publishers, production studios, consultants, Clients, and other External Collaborators. The License Holder may share the Font Software with External Collaborators solely for work directly related to the License Holder’s projects and only for the duration and scope of the relevant project. External Collaborators may use the Font Software only on behalf of the License Holder and may not use it for unrelated projects or independent Commercial Work. Upon completion, they must delete all copies unless they hold their own valid License. Where a Client receives editable files containing the Font Software or continues using the Font Software independently after delivery, the Client must obtain its own appropriate License directly from Suitcase Type Foundry.
4.1 Cloud Collaboration
The License Holder may upload the Font Software to secure cloud-based collaboration environments used in legitimate professional workflows, including collaborative design platforms, version-control systems, internal asset management systems, cloud storage providers, and shared production environments. Access must remain restricted to authorized Users and approved External Collaborators working within the licensed scope. The Font Software may not be uploaded to publicly accessible repositories, public template systems, or unrestricted download services. The License Holder remains responsible for compliance.
4.2 Agency and Client Workflow
Agencies, studios, and production partners may use the Font Software for commissioned work for Clients under their own valid License. Deliverables may include static exports, outlined artwork, PDFs, images, motion graphics, and other non-editable outputs. If a Client requires continued direct access to editable font files, editable design documents containing the Font Software, Webfont deployments, App embedding, or any other ongoing use, the Client must obtain an appropriate License. An agency License does not automatically extend to its Clients, and a Client License does not automatically extend to external agencies or production vendors. Internal transfers resulting from mergers, acquisitions, or corporate reorganizations may be permitted upon written notification to Suitcase Type Foundry.
5. AI and Automated Systems
Unless expressly authorized in writing, the Font Software may not be used to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or develop machine learning systems, generative AI systems, font-generation systems, handwriting synthesis systems, OCR systems, synthetic typography systems, or similar automated technologies. It may not be included in datasets, repositories, training corpora, or collections intended for machine learning or automated analysis, nor used to generate derivative typefaces, competing font software, synthetic glyph systems, or automated font variations. This does not prohibit ordinary creative work created with AI-assisted tools, provided that the Font Software itself is not used as training material or redistributed in breach of this Agreement.
6. Modifications
Unless expressly authorized in writing, the License Holder may not modify, rename, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative versions of the Font Software, convert it to alternative formats for unauthorized uses, or remove copyright information. Reasonable subsetting and technical optimization required for a licensed deployment are permitted. Custom modifications may be authorized through a separate written agreement.
7. Acceptable Use
Suitcase Type Foundry reserves the right to refuse or terminate any License associated with unlawful activity, fraud, sanctions violations, organized disinformation, unlawful discrimination, violent extremism, hate speech prohibited by applicable law, or comparable unlawful activities. Suitcase Type Foundry does not claim ownership or editorial control over works created using the Font Software, but may publicly dissociate its work from uses fundamentally incompatible with applicable law or basic principles of human rights.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Font Software is provided “AS IS”. Suitcase Type Foundry does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Suitcase Type Foundry is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or interruption of operations arising from use or inability to use the Font Software. Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
9. Termination
This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. Suitcase Type Foundry may terminate it if the License Holder materially breaches its terms. Upon termination, the License Holder must cease all new use of the Font Software, delete all copies in its possession or control, and cease deployments no longer covered by a valid License. Completed works lawfully created before termination may continue to be used, distributed, and displayed unless such continued use itself violates this Agreement or applicable law.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes arising under it are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Czech Republic unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
11. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning use of the Font Software and supersedes all prior oral or written agreements, understandings, and representations relating to its subject matter. Where a License Extension or separate written agreement expressly modifies this Agreement, that document prevails only to the extent of the additional rights expressly granted therein.
