Client: Kino Aero
Realization: 2007

The visual identity of Kino Aero is built around a distinctive all-caps display typeface inspired by condensed variations of Rockwell. Characteristic details — such as the “A” with its single-sided top serif or the curved legs of the “K” and “R” — appear not only in the cinema’s name itself, but are also repeatedly used throughout the typography, subtly reinforcing the brand’s recognizability.

Kino Aero is a single-screen Prague cinema focused on independent and arthouse film production, operating in one of the few historically preserved and still functioning cinema halls. The venue itself is a standalone functionalist building situated in the courtyard of a residential block in Prague’s Žižkov district, and was originally opened in 1933.
