Master & Master is a furniture manufacturer known for combining contemporary design with high-quality craftsmanship. Its products are distinguished by clean forms, functional solutions, and carefully selected materials, resulting in furniture that balances durability, everyday usability, and timeless aesthetics.

The original logotype was set in Helvetica, featuring a simple horizontally mirrored ampersand. The refreshed visual identity is firmly grounded in the neutral Icona Sans typeface, with a subtle twist in the form of an alternate lowercase “r” that echoes the right angles of furniture construction.

Because the ampersand glyph has a distinctly humanist structure and subtle stroke modulation—qualities further emphasized by mirroring—a refined custom version was developed for the logotype. Its primary and secondary strokes were adjusted according to the logic of broad-nib construction, the visual center of the character was carefully balanced, and its internal forms harmonized to create a more stable and coherent symbol.
