The Union typeface, created for the visual identity of the Czech Union of Graphic Design, paraphrases the legendary Olympic Games branding by Lance Wyman, which became an iconic example of corporate design.

In this case, however, the typeface symbolizes the old legend of the Great Moravian ruler Svatopluk I. of Moravia, who demonstrated the strength of unity to his sons using three willow rods.
