Supraphon is the most significant Czech music publishing house, whose history dates back to 1932. Its catalog has over 130,000 recordings, ranging from popular and classical music to spoken word. It is not only thanks to its extensive archive that it is one of the most traditional labels with an excellent reputation both at home and abroad, where Supraphon is highly regarded, especially in classical music.

The figurative part of the redesigned Supraphon mark follows the most valuable of the original historical forms while being more straightforward and transparent, free of misleading details. Its friendly styling rejuvenates the overall expression.

A dynamic composition fills the iconic semicircular label and allows the logo’s figural and textual parts to be separated. The typography is based on neutral Atyp, which better communicates the label’s multi-genre scope. To balance the circular composition, each character has been proportioned and shaped subtly.
