Client: Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague
Realization: 2012

The visual identity of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague is based solely on its distinctive color palette and a characteristic, almost neutral typeface, allowing it to coexist with a vast range of artistic outputs without competing for attention.

For the new technology building, an identical family of styles was developed in a monospaced variant. This adaptation more effectively reflects the building’s function and technical focus, particularly its workshops and production facilities.

The wayfinding and information system for the technology center, designed by superlative.works, employs a wide range of production technologies, including cut vinyl graphics, UV printing, digital printing, and metal-cut signage. To support these applications, a dedicated stencil style was also developed.
